Finding the right kind of equipment is essential to your game. Roller hockey is a sport that is very popular all over the world. Like ice hockey, it is a team game in which players attempt to score goals by shooting the puck into the opposing goal.

However, it is not played on ice, but instead on a smooth plastic surface. In an effort to stay safe, players wear all sorts of protective Roller Hockey Equipment, including roller hockey helmets, roller hockey pants, and roller hockey skates. Roller hockey helmets help prevent a player from injuring his or her head.

Typically they also include some kind of face protection.

The most common form of protection is a cage, which is made from metal or high density plastic. It is created in a cross pattern so that a player can see out through the bars, while still being protected from flying pucks and hockey sticks. Roller hockey pants are worn by most players to protect the upper portion of their legs and their lower back area.

The roller hockey puck can travel at very fast speeds, so the proper protection is necessary in order to prevent injury. These pants tend to be oversized so that they can include various padding, such as plastic and fabric, while still being comfortable to the player. There are a number of different styles available, so roller hockey players should find the type that work best for themselves. Roller hockey skates are the most important piece of equipment for players.

Outdoor Winter Activities

Auto Date Wednesday, April 11th, 2012

it is at least for me.

I love the long days of the spring and summer.

You can always plan a lot of outdoor activities. Nice walks in you Local Park, lounging down at the beach if you live close to water. Well we shouldn’t so lets take a look at some winter activities we can do. Feed the birds. You can make inexpensive bird feeders by taking pine cones, (if you don’t have pine trees close by, you can purchase them at a arts and crafts store) covering them with peanut butter and rolling them in birdseed.
